This is a drawing of Lanzy and Lula McCauley's farm house of the 1940's. This house was located in Evangeline Parish near Bayou Duralde between Mamou and Basile. They called the area l'Anse de 'Prien Noir after an old man w~o first settled there by the name of Mr. Cypri?n Cezaise. The scene ?ep~cts a ~rowd .of local Mardi Gras revelers dancing to the musIc of Mr. BOIsSec ArdOin, accompanied by his little boy with the Tee-fer. The group entertained Mr. and Mrs. McCauley and their little girl Elaine. Fun, fun, fun.
