Miss Molly was a Bovard from Thibodaux, LA. This drawing was done from a picture of her at the age of fifteen that was given to me by her grand-neice from Raceland. After I did the drawing and I was having a show in Houma, her niece brought Miss Molly to meet me. She brought me a small wooden round pot with a lid that she had painted gold and put a few pennies in it. She told me that I was her boy friend and that she brought me a pot of gold. A couple years later in her mid-nineties she passed away. I will never forget and always love Miss Molly. God bless her.
