Floyd Sonnier's Art Gallery is located at 1010 St. Mary Street in downtown Scott ( 5 miles west of Lafayette and only four blocks from Interstate 10 ) and is probably the most unique art gallery in Louisiana. Map

The Victorian house was constructed in 1918 by Mr. Albert Bourque of Scott. Floyd Sonnier purchased the house in 1991 and moved his gallery and studio there in April of 1998. The gallery is furnished with primitive Louisiana antiques (none of the antiques are for sale). In this old house, one can enjoy nostalgic feelings of turn-of-the-century life on the prairie and bayous.
